Vegas World slot machine project.

As a handyman, a local fellow wanted a action packed free play slot machine in his private bar. I have to say, news spreads fast and since I've started building this project, more people wants one!

The machine is named... 777 & BAR FREE PLAY CASINO

Display suggestion for the Slots cabinet...

Photo's as the project is almost completed. A little more finishing on the cabinet needed.  

A friend came around today having a very good idea. Suppose this machine is the center piece and on either side 2 table top machines, basically a single screen with keyboard tray. Both sides just on regular tables creating a 5 machine little casino that would be easy to transport and a neat "for hire" for any occasion. I'd say a pretty good idea... having a few palm trees around!

Let me start at the beginning.
First of all, a computer to run the machine and the perfect monitor. Luckily I have an old, large, low radiation monitor here. As the player sit up close to the screen, its better on the eyes and obviously it need to be a glass screen... Those fingers on the screen and the ladies rubbing the screen for that WooDoo stuff to win!

The first challenge was to search for the perfect cabinet dimensions. The following two scteches from the internet.

The fist one is basically an "arcade" cabinet and the second your typical Vegas style slot.
Then I went on to look at images of the real thing and the following captured my imagination.

I basically worked out the ratio of the cabinet build according to the screen size...

It will be full length cabinet, 1,8 meter tall and 500 mm wide.

THE SOFTWARE 

Before I carry on with the building of the project. The dedicated software as follows.

The machine needs a proper OS with firewall and Malware detection installed.

OFF LINE GAMES.

The project will be pretty useless if it can't be enjoyed off line. I found the installation pack of Riverboat Slots with Poker and awesome Black Jack.

The software provides for enough entertainment already as each different player can create his own profile. The Black Jack can be restarted with 50 credits each time that makes play very realistic. You need to make good choices to win and build credits!

The following photo... Still building the playing tray. Underneath the pull out tray, the player keyboard to enter each players profile. With both the off line and on line software each player playing the machine can create his own profile.

Applying wood filler... Lots of it!

The project is going slower as fine detailed finishing takes time. This machine is now officially ordered by a client and from this point on, detailed finishing is by the clients requests.

One of the things is that the side controller doors needs to lock to prevent kids switching on and playing the machine. Take note that the legal age for playing any gambling equipment is 18 may it be free play or payout.   

The woodwork is done! The Arcade Slot machine cabinet ready for spray painting!

After spray painting today... The finish isn't desired. I'll try to polish to matt black...
