A project is something, mostly a product or service you can't buy. Its something very specific that you want that may come to a very expensive price tag. The handyman is the fellow that can do the job for you, within your budget... Let me give you a few examples.
Something small... A little item to fit into the flower hole at the Remembrance wall... Something neat made from a very special piece of wood...
Something big... would be like house renovation. In the following example I divided a room to create a front office with its own toilet. This is a video showing a lot of tasks that one person... the handyman can do!
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
A handyman is someone that can think outside the box. Plan and create something unique!

Safety and security.
Sometimes fences helps a lot to make things difficult for a thief. They don't like gates and fences. It wouldn't prevent theft or vandalism but the barriers will help a lot.
On a gate, a very basic alarm can be connected. The following two images show regular fencing and a real old timer "bek-slaner-hek". Hit you in the mouth gate.
On the subject of security... most houses have the bedrooms on a passage. Have you thought about installing a safety "slam" gate there? That might just be very useful in these times of high crime.
It will provide some protection while you phone for help if a perpetrator entered the house!
